Each year PhotoEspaña awards the best photography books in different categories, to celebrate a format that makes possible to hold images of stories, collections, documents and projects in your hands. With this award, the talent, originality and design present in each photobook is rewarded.
 
The Festival has been awarding the Prize for the Best Photography Book of the Year since 1998. It distinguishes the most outstanding photography books of the year in three different categories: national, international, self-published book, and a mention to the best publishing house of the year.

We have only received this award once, thanks to the book Prótesis, by Tanit Plana, which was really the first photobook we have designed.
